The Thought Process

Garlic is known for it’s strong, spicy flavor. The slogan has “warm” in it, so warm red and yellow/orange were featured. The addition of purple was to represent the actual bit of purple that appears in the German hardneck garlic, but also because it is a cooler/cold color to represent “ice” in the brand ICE HOUSE. The garlic art is drawn with abstract free-flowing strokes in a simple yet fun way, incorporating two green shades to represent verdant growth with added depth from a splash of that purple. Brighter and strong tones for this brand creates an exciting vibe to make this organization stand out.

This pro bono branding was designed in 2010 and not fully used by the non-profit grower.
